Cancellation Policy

1. Standard Cancellation Timeline

At Swastik Solace Homestay, we understand that travel plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our property operations:

• 48 Hours Prior: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time (1:00 PM) will receive a full (100%) refund.
• 24 Hours Prior: Cancellations made within 24 to 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time will receive a 50% refund.
• Less than 24 Hours: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in will result in no refund (100% retention).

2. No-Shows & Early Departures

In the case of a “no-show” (failing to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice) or an early departure (checking out before your scheduled departure date), the total price of the reservation will be retained, and no refunds will be issued.

3. Force Majeure (Acts of God)

In the event of natural disasters, severe weather conditions affecting Assam (such as extreme flooding), or unforeseen government travel restrictions, Swastik Solace Homestay will evaluate cancellations on a case-by-case basis. We may offer a date modification or a credit voucher valid for 6 months instead of a standard monetary refund.
